Sulwhasoo opens Sulwha Danjang, a hanbok(Korean traditional dress) experience program

Korea’s representative luxury brand, Sulwhasoo, unveils Sulwha Danjang on April 21 at Sulwhasoo Flagship Store.
Sulwhasoo launches Sulwha Danjang to create new opportunities to try out traditional Korean dress, hanbok, stepping up its efforts to promote the beauty of traditional culture.
Sulwhasoo has 12 pieces of hanbok specially designed for Sulwha Danjang, allowing participants to choose from the attires of royal and noble women, and glamourous hanbok of beautiful women found in traditional paintings from the Joseon period.
These pieces of hanbok feature elements of traditional dresses such as flowing lines and exquisite materials, while stylishly reinterpreting the traditional color combination of the top and the skirt in a contemporary context.
The hemline of royal ceremonial dress is adorned with gold leaf in plum blossom patterns, Sulwhasoo’s brand symbol, adding Sulwhasoo’s unique delicate touch.
Traditional accessories are also available ranging from norigae pendant to hair ornaments such as gache (ornamental wig) and binyeo (traditional hairpin), enabling all participants to experience the beauty of Korean traditions and create enjoyable memories with friends and acquaintances.
Meanwhile, Sulwha Danjang takes place at 14:00 and 16:30 every Saturday and Sunday at Sulwhasoo Flagship Store from April 21, 2018. Please note that advance sign-up is required, as each session can accommodate up to four guests. A person is allowed to book a maximum of four seats per session, and sessions can only be booked through Sulwhasoo’s official website at www.sulwhasoo.com.
