Celebrating the 17th anniversary of First Care Activating Serum EX, Sulwhasoo has created advertising that exposed mother-of-pearl with Master Son Dae Hyun, who is the No. 1 mother-of-pearl master of Korea to express the radiance from deep within and an art film with Media Artist Jin Si Young, who has exhibited at many leading galleries in Korea and abroad. Furthermore, the 120ml limited edition product will be packaged in a sophisticated box that has modernly interpreted the mother-of-pearl from the advertising.
The 17th-anniversary limited edition of First Care Activating Serum EX, reflecting Sulwhasoo’s original value from modern reinterpretation of Korean values, will be available at Sulwhasoo stores in department stores across Korea from May.
First Care Activating Serum EX, which has been the best-selling product of Sulwhasoo since 1997, set the record of 100,000,000 KRW annual revenue last 2011 and sold more than 20,000,000 bottles altogether as of January 6 of this year, which is the year of its 17th anniversary. It has also recorded cumulative revenues of 1.063.2 billion KRW to become the first single product of a Korean brand to exceed 1 trillion KRW in Korea. This reflects all of the revenues from the world and it is acknowledged that First Care Activating Serum EX is the best-selling product of Sulwhasoo in the global markets such as USA, Mainland China, Hong Kong (China), and Singapore.
