Food Artist Young Hee Noh points out that it is important to mix the sugar thoroughly before it sinks to the bottom of the container in order to make more delicious sugared plums. 1 Cut through the back of the king prawns with a pair of kitchen shears and slice them in half with a knife. 2 Pierce the prawns with a skewer in order to keep them flat. 3 Preheat the pan with oil and cook thoroughly with the prawns’ meat side on the pan. 4 Spread an ample amount of plum and hot pepper paste sauce over the pan-fried prawns and pan-fry them one more time for a little bit. 5 Garnish with sliced green onion and salted plums, and then serve.again.
