Design Story
The Antoinette Poisson studio in Paris creates pattern designs for fabric materials and wallpapers that are largely based on the experience of its featured artists in restoring the “Domino” wallpapers, which are valuable heritage items having great significance to the French art scene during the 18th century.
Antoinette Poisson is similar to Sulwhasoo in terms of its commitment and philosophy towards carrying on the cultural legacy of their respective ancestors, and communicating the concept of heritage to the younger generations. For its upcoming limited edition product, Sulwhasoo selected Julie Stordiau, Vincent Farelley, and Jean-Baptiste Martin from Antoinette Poisson as the artists who will collaborate with each other based on interest, awareness, and passion that Antoinette Poisson has shown in Oriental art.
This year’s First Care Activating Serum EX New Year Limited Package was inspired by the peony flowers featured in the “10-Side Partition by 10 Artists of Seohwa Art Society” from Korea.
